Pushing Data To Google Analytics

UPDATED: October 2 2013

Please note that we have added an updated document within our forum which examines in further detail the process of integrating your iPerceptions data with Google Analytics, while also providing more information on features which become available starting at the iPerceptions Professional plan.  This document can be accessed here.

Thank you,

Phil A.

All iPerceptions Active Research users are able to integrate their survey data with their Google Analytics data. The process isn't long or difficult, particularly when you consider the insight obtained simply through applying metrics like Task Completion and key verbatim feedback against a "leak" in your conversion funnel.

Download the attached document for a step-by-step guide to pushing your survey data into Google Analytics.

    Hi, Christopher!

Have a question/suggestion regarding Pushing Data to GA. When a user accept the invitation the event is executed using GA terminology. And the event itself affects the Bounce Rate. Since GA added an additional option for the events called 'noninteraction', I think it would be great if 4Q customers could decide whether a survey should (or shouldn't) affect the bounce rate in Google Analytics.

    GA Docs link: http://code.google.com/intl/en/apis/analytics/docs/gaJS/gaJSApiEventTracking.html

Basically, it's just an additional boolean parameter true/false (default) at the event syntax.

    Hi Ilya,

Thanks for the idea. I'll forward it along to our dev team and see if we can't implement!

    Hi Chris,

Please can you let me know if this has been addressed, or should I expect to see my bounce rate figures affected by integration?

    Hello Phil,

At this time, bounce rate figures are being affected by integration.

Thanks, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any additional questions.
