FAQ: Why would I choose not to collect respondents’ IP address information?

Privacy laws within some countries prevent you from collecting Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in the form of IP addresses.  By using the feature provided within the "Project Info" page for your project, you can ensure that your research is adhering to the privacy of respondents when conducting sensitive research or research that is covered by legislation (e.g. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
