Tip: Choosing a Site Name

by Phil A.

When you first create your iPerceptions Certified or Custom Survey, and also within the "Project Info" page in the "Research Design" section of the portal, you are able to provide a name for your survey:

Note that the name that you provide for your survey does get automatically piped into certain aspects of your survey, such as:

1) Welcome Page

The name of your survey will be piped into the text of the Welcome Page ("Welcome to the _______ study"), providing a more personalized welcome message to your website visitors who are taking the time to fill out your survey:

2) Mobile Survey Invitation

As well, if you are asking your tablet and mobile users to participate in your survey, the name of your survey will be piped into the text on the mobile invitation:

“Welcome to __________ mobile website.”

3) iPerceptions Certified Survey Questions

For iPerceptions Certified Surveys, the name of the survey will be piped into the following questions provided through the Survey Creation Wizard:

Most positive aspect of visit: "What do you value most about the ________ website?"

Likelihood to recommend:  "Based on your experience today, how likely are you to recommend _________ to friends and relatives?"
