Analyzing your Data within the “Ranked” tab of the “Data Mining” Tool

by Phil A.

Through its “Trended”, “Ranked” and “Priorities” tabs, the “Data Mining” tool provides multiple ways for you to analyze your close-ended data in both trended and aggregate format.

The “Ranked” tab enables you to easily compare how different groups of respondents compare to each other based on a certain metric.  All data within this tab will be shown in aggregate format.

For example, here we are looking at how different Purpose of Visit groups compare to each in terms of their Task Completion rates:

In the chart, all groups will be shown in descending order (from highest to lowest) based on their respective ratings or scores.  In our example, the “My Account” group is shown first since they have the highest Task Completion rate, while those coming to gather “Contact Info” is shown last since their Task Completion rate is the lowest.

This data is also shown in descending order in the data table, while their respective rating / scores will also be shown, along with the number of respondents who identified themselves as being part of this group (e.g. 463 respondents said that they visited the website to access the “My Account” section.
