Analyzing the “Attributes Ranking” chart in the “Priority Grid” Tool

by Phil A.

When using iPerceptions’ Experience Tracking and Optimization framework for your survey, the “Priority Grid” tool enables you to perform Bayesian Model Averaging to determine the level of influence that specific website attributes had on your visitors’ Overall Experience.

As part of the output provided is the “Attributes Ranking” box, which accompanies the Priority Grid chart and provides additional information about the website Attributes which were found to have had statistically significant influence on your visitors’ Overall Experience:

The color of the bar in the “Attributes Rating” chart is reflected in the “Priority Grid” chart provided to the left (in the example above, the green bar represents the “Discovery” Attribute, the orange bar represents the “Return” Attribute, etc.).

The numbers provided above the bars represent the ratings that were provided for these website Attributes for the respondents that you specified using the “Define the Segment” feature prior to generating the Priority Grid.

The red line represents the ratings that were provided for each of these website Attributes for all of your respondents.

If you did not use the “Define the Segment” feature for your analysis, the ratings represented by the red line and bars provided in the “Attributes Rating” chart will be identical.
