Analyzing the "Statistics / Additional Overview" Tables in the "Response Rates" Tool

by Phil A.

The "Response Rates" tool allows you to monitor the number of survey invitations that have been served to your website visitors, as well as the number of those who accepted the invitation ("Yes"), started the survey ("Starts") and completed the survey ("Completes").  In addition, you can also monitor the Mean (average) and Median times it took for respondents to complete the survey.

While the Average Rate line chart and bar chart allow you to have a trended look at your survey statistics, the "Statistics Overview" and "Additional Overview" tables allow you to view this data as an aggregate, dependent on the time range that you select:

The percentages provided to the right of the "Yes", "Starts" and "Completes" figures represent this survey's Average Acceptance Rate, Average Start Rate and Average Response Rate (respectively) for the time range you selected.
