Grouping Alerts by Metric or Dimension on the “Monitoring” Tool

by Phil A.

UPDATE: August 4 2015

Please note that the “Monitoring” reporting tool is no longer available in the iPerceptions Active Research platform following its beta release.  Please check out this section of our support forum for information on the reporting tools available in the Active Research Platform

______________

Available starting at the iPerceptions Premium plan, the “Monitoring” tool allows you to identify statistically significant changes in your close-ended data from one period to the next.

By default, all statistically significant findings will be listed by Dimension, meaning that any statistically significant changes seen for a specific group of respondents will be shown together.  In the example below, all statically significant findings for those coming to “Check Prices” are listed together.  In this case, this group of respondents experienced statistically significant decreases in their Task Completion, Overall Experience, and iPSI:

You can also choose to view your statistically significant changes listed by Metric, meaning that all those who experienced a statistically significant change for a certain metric will be shown together.  In the example below, each of the groups who experienced a statistically significant change in their Overall Experience ratings are listed together.  In this case, those coming to Check Prices, Research Details of a Car, Build and Price a Car, Visit the Owner Section, and those with “Other” Purposes of Visit experience statistically significant decreases in their Overall Experience ratings:
